Each Friday, the students in Doctor Green’s environmental science class, along with the help of other students, collect the recycling at Port Allen High School. The students are learning about the importance of recycling and spreading their message to everyone at the school. Each classroom has a recycling box that was donated by Keep West Baton Rouge Beautiful - West Baton Rouge Parish Council. Not only are we teaching kids about the importance of recycling, but also how they can use it their everyday lives.
