IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER FOR WBR PUBLIC UTILITIES
During the period of June 1 through September 30, 2022, we were required to collect a total of 20 lead and copper samples. All 20 samples were collected, however, 2 of the 20 samples were unable to be analyzed within the required time period due to a 14-day shelf life expiration occurring. Please note that the results of the 18 samples that were able to be analyzed were below the lead and copper action levels. In addition, results of past monitoring show that the system has remained in compliance with lead and copper.
Necessary action has been taken to prevent this violation from recurring and we are scheduled to collect another round of 20 samples during the period of June 1 and September 30, 2023. Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly.
This sampling took place within WBR Public Utilities Water district which serves appx. 1,450 customers. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns at 225-336-2406.
