Corn Hole Tournament
The Corn Hole Tournament that was scheduled for March has been rescheduled to May 12th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Alexander Park in Brusly and the cost will be $5.00 per person. We will have 2 categories of players. You may register at any cornhole game on Tuesday or by contacting Sonya at the Senior Spirit office 215-5290. Please join in the fun!

Pokeno

Pokeno resumed on February 15th! It will be played from 10am-1:00pm on the third Tuesday of every month at the WBR Senior Spirit Center. Jean Witten will be the Group Leader for this game and she can be reached at 545-0536. Please call her if you would like to be added to the list as a substitute.

"Pelican State Goes to War" Exhibit at WBR Museum
This Exhibit is ongoing at the Museum through March 20th. On March 11th @ 12:00pm there will be a lecture on the Higgins Boat by Jimmy Duckworth. And on March 16th at 12:00pm, Ellis Gauthier (Senior Spirit Member), will give a lunchtime lecture regarding "Recollections of a School Boy in W.B.R. during WWII". Please come out and enjoy Ellis' lecture and the Exhibit.

Get Your Senior Spirit Tote Bag!

Senior Spirit Tote Bags are available for purchase for $8. Sonya Boudreaux will have them at the Weight Class or Corn Hole games. You can also call the Senior Spirit Office 215-5290 to obtain yours.

Hand & Foot Canasta
Hand & Foot Canasta is back!! You may call Joyce Barbier
383-0232 or Julie Prejean 776-4433 to join in the game. Hand & Foot Canasta will be played every Wednesday from 12:00-3:00pm at the Port Allen Community Center.

Michelangelo Exhibit on March 25th

The Michelangelo Exhibit has been rescheduled to 10:30am on March 25th at the Raising Cane's River Center in Baton Rouge. The Group ticket rate is $12.50 each. We need at least 12 people registered in order to get the group rate. We plan to carpool from the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church parking lot to the exhibit. Please call Stella at 215-5290 to sign up.
