Rockin' on the Railroad
Great sounds were heard by many of our Senior Spirit members (pictured here) on April 29th at the Addis Railroad Park. Live music will be back in the Fall!

Grief Recovery Meetings

Grief Recovery Meetings will be on the first three Mondays of June at the WBR Senior Spirit Center. The meetings will be on June 6, June 13 & June 20 from 6:30pm-7:30pm. If you need more information, please call Joanna Hynes, 924-6621.

WBR Museum Events
"Aliento a Tequila" exhibit was enjoyed by several Senior Spirit members. The photographs of the Exhibit were taken by Joel Salcido and depicted the culture, people, plants, production and landscapes. The group enjoyed lunch at Court Street Cafe' afterwards.

COME AND SEE!
Three Roll Estate: From Sugar at Alma Plantation to Rum

This exhibit will run at the WBR Museum from May 7-August 21. Three Roll Estate Distillery will show the process of converting sugar with molasses to rum. You will be able to view an electric three roll cane grinder, historic photos of Alma Plantation and much more. Please visit the exhibit Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00am-4:30pm; and Sunday 2:00-5:00pm. It's a great exhibit and you will enjoy the photographs from Alma Plantation!

Christmas in July Card Pary
July 25th
The WBR Historical Association will hold a Card Party Fundraiser on July 25 from 10:00am-3:00pm at the WBR Community Center in Port Allen. The cost is $30 per player and includes lunch and access to door prizes. To register, please contact Amanda Moak, 300-4674 or 336-2422. Registration forms are available at the WBR Senior Spirit Center.

Hand & Foot Canasta- Location Change to WBR Senior Center

Hand & Foot Canasta will be played every Wednesday of the month from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the WBR Senior Center in Brusly. Please call Julie Prejean 776-4433 to join in the fun!
